Day Ticket & Family Visitors

Whether you’re visiting Leighton as an individual or a family, there is lots to keep everyone entertained.

Leighton Hall welcomes day & family visitors from May to September each year. Our enthusiastic and friendly guides will be happy to share with you the magic of this grand old home, its heritage and its character.

Discover the Secrets of one of England’s most famous furniture making families

Leighton Hall is very much a lived-in house rather than a stuffy museum, there are no roped-off areas and you won’t find anyone shouting 'don’t touch!' at your children! The Halls history is brought to life by the guides. Each room from the modest chapel to the imposing dining room is still used every day by the Gillow family.

With lots of funny and fascinating tales to reveal, the family’s ancestry means there are plenty of unusual pieces of furniture and paintings to enjoy.
