Family Fun Day Celebrating National Apple Day
A day of family fun celebrating National Apple Day, including demonstrations, makers market, cider, juices, bakes and preserves. Have-a-go activities including basket weaving, beekeeping, apple picking and tasting, pressing, campfire cooking and pedal-power smoothie making, with tea room, gardens, play areas, maze and woodland walk open.
Timings: 10:00am - 3:00pm

- Children 0 to 4 years - £1
- Children 5 to 11 years - £2.50
- Over 11 years to Adult - £6.50

Traditional crafts, makers’ market with unique gifts and treats, costumed Victorian guides, experts and demonstrators including the Bee Club, RSPB, and Harrison Ward, the “Fell Foodie”. Inclusive family fun including have-a-go orchard crafts and campfire activities.

Use your pedal power to turn windfall apples into delicious smoothies with our have-a-go ‘Smoothie Bike’, then enjoy the fruits of your labours! Also new for this year is a walking tour and talk.
Delicious homemade fare and drinks in Leighton’s famous traditional tearoom and gift shop.
This event will take place rain or shine. Sorry no dogs allowed at this event.
