Answer: A bird of prey catches its food with its feet. The curved,
sharp talons help it to grip its prey.
2. Why does Crumble the Owl have silent flight?
Answer: He relies on his hearing to hunt. Silent flight allows
him to hear movement around him and his prey can't hear him approach.
3. How can Crumble the Owl fly without making any noise?
Answer: He has soft edges to his feathers which muffle sound.

Answer: The long winged bird is faster because there is less air
resistance to its streamlined wing.

often to stay in the air. It can soar on warm pockets of air called thermals.
