The co-ordination of weddings is the special responsibility of Leighton's owner, Suzie Reynolds. As well as ensuring the reception runs smoothly, Suzie can also help brides-to-be & their families with menus, flowers, transport, photographs and even seating arrangements. She has been an enthusiastic, experienced & welcome support for brides & their families for more than 25 years.
Parties of up to 150
We can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests within the house for a sit down meal. There is plenty of space if you want to invite an extra 30 or so to join you for your evening celebrations, bringing numbers in the house to a maximum of around 110. We are able to accommodate larger parties by attaching a magnificent marquee to the Drawing Room. Complete with star cloth, which creates hundreds and thousands of twinkling lights, using the marquee for either a seated meal or for dancing, enables you to invite up to 150 guests. For smaller numbers the Main Hall is available for you to dance the night away.
During the summer months, treat your guests to champagne and canapés served by uniformed staff, whilst the Bride and Groom have photographs taken in the stunning grounds and gardens. In winter the house looks equally atmospheric with its roaring log fires and plenty of magical candle light.
Weddings at Leighton Hall are coordinated with our inhouse caterer Karen Rhodes Catering. Karen looks after all the food, drink and staffing for events at Leighton and with over 20 years experience of perfect weddings, provides the most meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the success of any celebration.
All her menus are freshly made from the finest ingredients, bought locally and chosen for their quality. Karen can supply any wine and spirits you require or can run a bar for you. However, if you would prefer to provide your own wine and champagne, you can arrange to have it delivered direct to her for chilling. There is a nominal handling fee, but no corkage charge.
Sample menus and wine lists are available that we will happily tailor to your requirements, and we can provide all the essential accoutrements from the best linen and beautiful crystal to the complimentary cake stand and knife.
