I am writing to thank you and your husband for the use of Leighton Hall once again. Having held the event at Leighton Hall for two successive years, it will be extremely difficult for future presidents to find a better location.

For the ultimate in corporate events, teambuilding ideas and group activities, take a look at the wide selection of fantastic events that our recommended partner See Events can offer.
Their event ‘repertoire’ includes team building, themed events and entertainment, group activities such as clay pigeon shooting days, outdoor pursuits including archery and motorised vehicle challenges and family celebration days to compliment your special event.
Whether on site in the hall's grounds or off site the choice is varied and interesting to provide another memorable experience during any visit to Leighton Hall.
Organisers of corporate events like meetings, seminars, training sessions, corporate hospitality and team building days are increasingly under pressure to find new and unusual venues.
Leighton Hall's spectacular setting, historic heritage and its excellent motorway links make it an ideal location whomever you want to impress!
Each room has its own unique characteristics from the imposing dining room and the charming drawing room, to the Music Room, complete with Concert Steinway piano. This diversity and the peaceful location means every room has in the past hosted a TV or film crew.
As well as the Hall itself, Leighton's grounds have been used for high quality product launches and immense special events like outdoor concerts and open air theatre - The grounds can hold up to 5,000 visitors watching a performance in front of the house.
For exclusive Use of the Hall, Gardens & surrounding Parkland the fee is £200.00 plus VAT per hour.

For corporate client entertainment or team building days, Leighton Hall can offer the following activities:
Such activity days are loosely structured to fill an entire day.
Friends old and new gathered in the magnificent setting of Leighton Hall on 12th December to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the designation of the Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and to take part in the launch of the Review of the AONB Management Plan.
Lucy Barron, AONB Manager, talked about the many achievements and highlights since designation; Tony Riden, AONB Countryside Officer, revealed how the fantastic volunteer effort had made a difference over the years; and Suzie Reynolds regaled us with the history of Leighton Hall.
This was followed by the presentation of the 2012 Bittern Award to Ann Kitchen for her outstanding contribution to the AONB, in particular in recognition of her hard work and enthusiasm in setting up the Bittern Countryside CIC Community Renewables Initiative but also for her work as a Trustee of the John Barnes Charitable Trust and as a leading figure in the Arnside Natural History Society as one of its botanical recorders.
But as well as looking back, it is important to look to the future and the opportunity of having so many knowledgeable supporters in the room at one time was too good to waste. David Askew, AONB Officer, seized the chance to find out what our guests felt were the 3 most important special qualities of the AONB and the 3 most important priorities for action to be included in the next Management Plan.
There was much reminiscing over lunch and an acceptance that challenging times lie ahead, but also recognition that the AONB Partnership is prepared to rise to the challenge. Here’s to the next 40 years!
“Amazing, fantastic, astounding, phenomenal, stupendous – just a few words to describe the fantastic service and venue that is Leighton Hall. Cruise Connections has held many corporate client events at the house over the past few years and we remain impressed with the attention to detail, warmth of both the staff and the Reynolds family as well as the most mouth-watering cakes ever to grace this planet. We will be booking our next event soon.”
Whitby & Co.’s 50th Anniversary. We decided to celebrate this event with a party for all employees to show appreciation for their continued hard work and loyalty to the company, something very rare these days.
We considered many different venues from a Marquee to hosting in local hotels. However all venues we discounted because we felt they were simply not special enough for our once in a lifetime celebration. Having visit Leighton Hall on several occasions over the last 2 years we realised it was the most perfect setting, both from its imposing grandeur on arrival to its stunning setting being in the most beautiful countryside. The house itself is warm and inviting and full of character, all our employees loved the whole event, from entering on the red carpet, the wonderful champagne reception, a fantastic dinner in the wonderful dining room to ending the evening with a casino! Both the Reynolds family and all the staff involved with that night did an amazing job and made us all feel very welcome!
Whitby & Co would highly recommend Leighton Hall to any private individuals wanting to host a wedding or celebration or like us a company anniversary or general corporate event. It was so good I’ve even booked my 40th Birthday party!
Tim Griffiths, Whitby & Co, Kendal
Many thanks for your kind hospitality on the above day. My guests enjoyed being part of your extended family for the day and all commented on what a great day we had.
From breakfast on arrival to dinner at the end of the day, everything was splendid.
The shooting this year was particularly good with the new drives working well and showing very sporting birds. The team enjoyed the challenge at the expense of extra cartridges. We were able to select our birds from the many put over us by Alan and his team. Please pass on my thanks to all for their efforts.
I very much look forward to returning in the New Year.
Very best wishes to you and all at Leighton Hall for Christmas.
