Unfortunately it was raining so hard we couldn’t explore the gardens so we sheltered in the tearooms, eating far too many delicious cream cakes and drinking lots of tea. All home made and all totally scrummy.
We are Open!
We are delighted to tell you we are reopening on Thursday 16th July 2020 from 2pm till 5pm.
For the time being, we will be open Thursday and Sunday Afternoons from 2pm till 5pm. All visitors must book in advance via our new online booking system. Tours of the house are timed and of limited size, which must also be booked in advance. The Tearooms, Toilets, Playground, Gardens and Woodland Walk will all be open as well. Unfortunately we are unable to offer the Birds of Prey Display at this time. Please see our Covid-19 Statement below to see the measures we have put in place to ensure your safety and well being during your visit.
Here you can enjoy a relaxing cuppa, a sandwich, jam & cream scone, home-made cake or tray bake in what was the 'Old Kitchens'. Clearly identified by the old kitchen range and meat / vegetables ceiling hooks!
Our Tea Rooms are accessed via the Gift shop, with ramps available for scooters, wheelchairs & walkers.
